We are very fortunate to have a very active and committed HGSA (Hurst Green School Association) whose activities help to fund those ‘extras’ which make a huge difference to enrich our children’s educational experience.
We encourage all new families to join as a great way to get to know our school, our families and get involved in some of the brilliant activities they arrange. Discos, fairs, bake sales, movie nights; there are lots of opportunities to participate, make new friends and make a difference to our school.
Everyone is welcome to come along to the meetings where dates and ideas are discussed. If you do not wish to attend, we always need help on the day – so, do track someone down and put your name forward to help on the day to set up, clear up or do the whole event!
Funds raised pay for things like:
- Pantomime visit every other year.
- A school trip or experience for each class per year.
- Resources for ‘House days’.
- Many experiences and resources for the children throughout the year.

If you would like to get involved and are not sure who to approach, please contact The School Office who will point you in the direction of an HGSA volunteer. We would love for you to join us at our next HGSA meeting.
