School Uniform Policy 2022 2024

Basic uniform: white shirt, red and green striped tie (compulsory from Year 3), grey trousers/skirt, black socks/tights, bottle green school v-neck jumper (with school logo), black shoes (not trainers).  In the Summer a short-sleeved white shirt and grey shorts may be worn or a green checked summer dress.

School ties, jumpers, cardigans, and PE kit/bags can be ordered through the school on our Parentpay system.  Once paid for, you can pick it up from the office.  Children in KS2 are required to wear a school tie.  KS1 children (Years 1 and 2) and Foundation Stage (Reception) do not wear ties.

PE Kit:  The school has its own PE kit that is part of the school uniform and must be worn. This kit consists of: black shorts, green t-shirt with the school logo emblazoned and sensible plimsolls or trainers. Most indoor work, especially gym, is done in bare feet.

Footwear: School shoes should be black. These should be sensible shoes, suitable for a school environment. Trainers/plimsolls are required for PE lessons. Wellington boots or something of a similar sturdy nature will be acceptable in poor weather. However, the children must bring their school shoes to change into once they enter the school building.

Hair: Hair should not be dyed and extreme cuts e.g tramlines are not allowed. Long hair should be tied back.

Jewellery: Jewellery is not allowed at school. The only exception to this is if a child has pierced ears, whereupon small, plain studs may be worn. The child must be able to remove their own earrings for P.E lessons – as we are not able to do this.
